Knowing a default password for Windows 7 would be very useful when your computer prompts you for an administrator password and you have no idea what to put!
There are a number of situations when having a default password would come in handy. For example, if you've forgotten your Windows 7 password, or Windows asks you for one to do some kind of administrator function, a default password would get you where you need to be.
Maybe you're trying to install a program but you're not logged in as an administrator - a default password would certainly save the day in this case!
While there may not be an actual default password for Windows 7, there are ways to get done the things you were hoping to do with a default password:

There should be at least one user on a Windows 7 PC that has administrator access. If you share this computer with someone else, ask if they have administrator privileges and if they would be willing to grant them to you or help you out.
