How to (Properly) Clean an LCD Monitor
Thursday December 27, 2007
I'm guessing quite a few of you received an LCD monitor under the tree this year... congratulations! You'll never go back to a clunky tube monitor and why should you? LCD monitors are smaller, brighter, and just plain cooler - temperature and otherwise.
Since you may only be a few days into ownership, you probably haven't thought much about cleaning your new high tech display. Before you grab a paper towel and the bottle Windex, you need to realize that LCD monitors are very different than CRT monitors. There is most certainly a right way to clean an lcd monitor. If you don't follow these tips, you may well be asking for a replacement come next year.
