Wise Care 365 is a freeware system optimizer tool. That means it includes different applications, all in a single program.

In addition to many other things (all listed below), one feature that stands out to me is the ability to auto-clean things like log files, temporary files, invalid Windows Registry entries, browsing history, etc.

I've used this program a lot over the years, and there's never much to complain about.

What We Don't Like
  • Some tools are marked as "PRO" and require a paid upgrade to use.

Wise Care 365 Tools

Some system optimizers have unique features that set them apart from other similar software. Every feature in Wise Care 365, however, is included in similar programs. I couldn't find anything unique that I couldn't get elsewhere.

The following is a list of every tool:

Auto shutdown, data recovery, deleted files eraser, disk cleaner, disk defrag, empty file scanner, fast search, file shredder (drives/files/folders/free space), folder hider, force deleter for locked files, internet speed tuner, junk cleaner, memory optimizer, one-click cleaner, password generator, privacy cleaner, program uninstaller, process monitor, registry cleaner, registry defrag, services and application startup manager, shortcuts fixer, startup/shutdown accelerator, system information tool, system optimizer

Some other tools are included, like an advanced privacy cleaner, big files manager, and context menu cleaner, but they aren't free to use.

More Information

  • Runs on Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP
  • You can get a portable version of Wise Care 365 from the General settings tab of the installable version
  • The registry cleaner can optionally be set to scan much deeper than the default setting will
  • You can use it to remove files that came pre-installed with Windows and other useless files like installation files, cache files, help files, and sample media files, all in one go
  • It can clean registry errors and delete temporary files on a schedule
  • Custom folders can be cleaned along with the system cleaner
  • Custom folders, files, file types, registry keys, and domains can be excluded from being cleaned
  • Instead of having to create a registry backup manually, Wise Care 365 builds one automatically before cleaning out the registry
  • A "Floating Window" lets you manually optimize the system memory whenever you like, or you can set it up to do it automatically when memory usage crosses a certain threshold
  • Uses the Random Data data sanitization method to completely erase individual files and/or entire hard drives

My Thoughts on Wise Care 365

This program may be a little low on features compared to other system optimizers, but it has a really nice memory optimizer that shouldn't be overlooked.

Wise Memory Optimizer can run when you first log on to Windows, is minimized to the system tray, and can be executed when memory usage exceeds a particular amount. Memory can even be optimized with this tool when the computer is idle.

I like this feature because I don't have to manually run it. It sits in the notification area constantly and doesn't seem to use very many system resources. You can run it manually, but configuring it and forgetting about it is the easiest way to use it.

As I've written above, a disk cleaner is included. It's a little different from similar programs because there's also an Advanced Cleaner that can scan for certain file types. For example, you can scan all attached hard drives for file types like FTS, DMP, thumbs.db, BAK, and LOG. These are normally associated with files that you don't need because they're either temporary or backup files. It can also find empty files and invalid shortcuts.

As you make your way around the program, you'll notice a PRO label on several buttons. This means that particular feature is only available in the upgraded, paid version of Wise Care 365. Most of the professional features are actually options you can find in similar free programs.

When you close the program, an advertisement to buy the full version is oftentimes displayed, which can be annoying if you never plan to upgrade. But overall, if you're looking for a simple-to-use, free system optimizer, you won't be disappointed giving this one a try.
