After extracting the Winkeyfinder ZIP file to a folder, open the folder to view the contents.
You should see only one file - WinKeyFinder173_RC2.exe. You may not see the EXE file extension so just make sure you see the file. If you don't, download and extract the Winkeyfinder ZIP file again. Something might have gone wrong during the download or unzip.
Double-click on the WinKeyFinder173_RC2.exe file to run Winkeyfinder.
Winkeyfinder does not actually install on your PC - it simply runs from this single file. If you have trouble locating the file, it's the one with the large yellow key icon as shown in the screenshot above.
Note: The picture above shows what the folder with the extracted Winkeyfinder application file looks like in Windows 7. If you're using a different Windows operating system, your folder may not look the same.
