Guide Review - Keyfinder Thing v3.1.6
Keyfinder Thing is an excellent keyfinder choice if you're looking for that obscure product key or serial number. It's a quick download and easy to use. Found product keys and serial numbers for several of your programs are displayed in the main program window.
As of version 3.1.6, Keyfinder Thing will automatically locate the product keys for several Windows operating systems and most if not all versions of Microsoft Office.
According to documentation with Keyfinder Thing, the following program's serial numbers or product keys can also be found: Microsoft Money 12 and 14, Microsoft Works, several Microsoft Visual Studio applications, Age of Mythology, ACDSee 6 and 7, Nero 6 and 7, WordPerfect Suite 11, PowerDVD 5, Battlefield 1942 and Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
Keyfinder Thing can also locate the serial numbers for Sims, Sim City 4, Star Wars: Republic Commando, O&O Defrag Pro 8, Registry Mechanic 5, Partition Magic, Roxio Easy CD Creator, Norton System Works, Ulead Video Studio 8, Winzip 10, ZoneAlarm, and more.
Keyfinder Thing will also scan your registry for serial numbers that it's not preprogrammed to find. Keyfinder Thing successfully found several additional serial numbers after a scan on one of my computers. This is a very handy feature.
