Will You Upgrade to Windows 7?

Friday June 26, 2009
Windows XP and especially Windows Vista have some shortcomings as far as stability goes. In other words - they often break.

Typically, when Microsoft releases a new operating system, things get better. That didn't happen when they released Windows ME nor did it happen with Windows Vista.

Windows 7 on the other hand may be what we've been waiting for - a solid, stable operating system. For the most part.

So, will you be upgrading? Windows 7 will be released on October 22, 2009 but upgrade pre-orders at many retailers are half off Through July 11th. Here's Amazon.com's Windows 7 Pre-order page but check around at your favorite tech retailer too.

Nope, I will not be. I use several OS’s, Windows, Mac, Linux .. I tried VISTA and have gone back to XP. Maybe 7 is better maybe not, who cares? XP does what I need it to do when I need to use a windows environment.
