The Inside of Your PC: Demystified!
Wednesday June 24, 2009
I get the impression from regular emails that there's a certain subset of my readers that are very much interested in working, in some capacity, inside their computers but are afraid to actually do it!
Maybe you're looking to troubleshoot a problem yourself to save money or maybe you're just interested in how it all works. Regardless, opening up your case and digging into a problem or project is not something you should be afraid of.
(Contrary to what your brother-in-law told you about his IT support job being a lot like rocket science or brain surgery, it is not.)
While this might not remove all fear, check out my Tour Inside a PC for a taste of what you'll probably see opening up your standard desktop PC.
