Windows Vista Service Pack 2 is now available from Microsoft.

As usual, I don't recommend installing a service pack before it shows up in Windows Update unless you're troubleshooting a specific issue that you believe a service pack might help resolve or if you're looking for feature updates that a service pack includes.

Windows Vista SP2 includes updates for certain 64-bit processors, support for Bluetooth v2.1, improved wireless performance, improved sidebar performance, native support for Blu-Ray media, and several other updates and improvements.

See Notable Changes in Windows Vista SP2 from Microsoft for more information.
